After Midnight
Blues/Rock

After Midnight were formed in 1985 in Newcastle, taking their name from Eric Clapton’s first solo hit (written by JJ Cale). There have been many highlights over the years, including support slots with Doctor Feelgood and Steve Marriott.

For the first 15 years After Midnight performed at most of the pubs and clubs in the north east, building up a loyal following and playing a variety of covers including Free, Cream, Dire Straits and of course Eric Clapton. In 2000 the band began concentrating on tribute concerts devoted entirely to Slowhand’s music. Since then, they have toured throughout the UK and Europe including concerts at The Royal Festival Hall and Glastonbury Festival. In the past few years they have performed numerous gigs in Europe including Spain, Estonia, Holland & India.
