We have live music on Saturday nights, Buskers on Sundays, Quizzes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Poker nights, events and a function suite for hire. Live BT and Sky sports. Pool teams and darts teams ; just about anything you want, Hidden away at the back of the pub, the huge space includes all manner of seating as well as a raised, decked area. Little wonder the times we have been (when the sun was out) it has been absolutely packed!
The food at The Blue Bell is also something of a discovery, as everything is home-cooked on the premises. Now, this does not mean things are bought in and then cooked in-house, it means properly home-cooked. Even their gorgeously chunky chips are cut and cooked right there in their kitchen. We think we do the Best Burgers in Jesmond - why not put us to the test? Our Sunday lunches are becoming well-known and very popular. The pub's location is also quite an attraction, with Jesmond Dene right on the doorstep but still within walking distance of Newcastle city centre.
