The event will see 3 very fine bands who will be covering FREE's material with some emphasis on their 2nd album 'Free' which sees a 50th Anniversary release this year. with a little bit of Bad Company thrown in for good measure to keep you Bad Co fans happy too !
The 3 Bands are fantastic and are all making their Convention debuts but have great pedigrees .

Very Bad Company - performing Bad Company classics and Free Collectively I am informed , the band members previous bands include Bastille, Pierrepoint, Vixen, Allied Forces,Secrets In The Attic, The Jackson Elliot Band, HGV, Roadrunner, Citizen Band,Mad Hatter, Rock Justified, Sheer Calm, Prisoner, and Whitesnakes Journey. 8.15 The Steve Fulsham Band - The Band features a fabulous Guitarist and they will be playing tracks from each Free Album including classics and rarer tracks like Mouthful of Grass . Not to be missed ! 9.45 Raffle/ Auction in aid of the Northern Brainwave appeal 10.15 Heartbreaker (NE) - Classic Free track set The Band has been together 2 years and have a great feel for Free's music 11.30 Finish Finishing at 11.30 should enable people enough time to catch the last Metro from Wallsend. It takes 15 mins to Newcastle or Tynemouth on the Metro and allows you more options for B&Bs in a wide erea. The Metro station is only a 1 minute walk from the venue .
